Scout is not responsive or disappeared from the Knog app

In any case where the Knog app or Scout is non-responsive, try the following steps before attempting a factory reset.

  1. Plug in your Knog Scout via the USB-C until green light indicates the Scout is fully charged.
  2. Quit the Knog app on your iPhone -> Swipe up from the bottom of your screen, bringing the app into the center. Swipe up again to close the app.
  3. Make sure you have the latest version of the Knog app installed.
  4. re-open the Knog app and your Scout should be visible, and all features enabled.

If the above is unsuccessful and your Scout is not in an armed state, you can perform a factory reset as outlined here for Scout Bike or here for Scout Travel, and then set the Scout up again.
