My Scout is too sensitive and the alarm is easily triggered

In the Knog app, you can lower the alarm trigger sensitivity for each Scout to a level that better suits your situation or preference.

The sensitivity range  of Scout is purposely designed to be relatively high, and there is a very good reason for this - while testing lower sensitivity ranges, we confirmed that this negatively affects the internal accelerometer in such a way that would allow someone to manage to steal your bike or luggage - for example if they moved the Scout/connected item at a slow enough rate this could avoid triggering the alarm. The sensitivity range in conjunction with the accelerometer (which registers movement/location data) is a fine balancing act and so we have decided to err on the side of caution here in order to provide a higher level of security.
