How do I connect my Scout Bike to a new phone / iOS device?

If you wish to transfer your Scout to a new phone / iOS device, you will need to first perform a factory reset. Transferring app data from one phone to another will not transfer the bonded Bluetooth connection required for Scout to operate on a new device.

First, ensure that your Scout is disarmed.

Then, remove the Scout Bike from the Knog app, Find My app and your phones Bluetooth device list on your existing iOS device / iPhone.

Perform a factory reset before attempting to connect the Scout on your new phone / iOS device.

If you have attempted to connect your Scout to a new phone without first performing a factory reset, please also remove the Scout from the new phones Knog app, Find My app and Bluetooth device list prior to performing the factory reset.

Do not attempt a factory reset if your Scout is armed as this will render the Scout inoperable.
